Description

Have fun reviewing expanded form/expanded notation with this train themed expanded form/notation game.

This is a partner game where students will pull a card from a baggie displaying a number written in standard form and expanded form. One of the values of the expanded form are missing. The students whose turn it is will give the value of the number. Once the answer is checked on the answer sheet, if the answer was correct, the player will mark the value on the game board. The winner is the first student to get 4 in a row.Students can play multiple rounds, as some rounds will last longer than others.

**NOTE- you can now purchase this pack as part of my 4th grade math mega bundle.

========================

The numbers range from hundreds to millions.

Includes: cover sheet for front of file folder, game board, 25 game cards, directions, and answer key.

This game works perfectly as a cooperative math game, center activity, and great for guided math if you need to work with a small group. Take it out for review before tests, or basically just use any time throughout the year.

NOTE: This game is more suitable for 3-4th grades, but it would provide great remediation for a 5th grader.

HI Harriet - Thank you for your purchase. I am not sure what you mean about 'age appropriate', as my 4th graders played this game just this week and loved it. There were sample cards to view in the preview before purchasing. I'm hoping you did see those, but I am not sure. Thank you again. Kindly, Molly
