Students read a scenario and need to identify the independent variable, dependent variables, conrtol, and constant variables. Then students create a hypothesis. Students also interpret a data chart and create a graph based on the data identified. This is assignment is used to asses how well students understand the process of designing experiments and their knowledge of variables.

Great review of experimental design, data tables, and graphing. There are minimal errors on the student copy that cannot be corrected due to the file not being editable. That would be a great addition.
