This is an introduction into experimental design. It can be used with roughly any age. I am using it for 9-10th graders (freshman and sophmores) as a beginners guide to experimental design and as an ice breaker for the beginning of the year. This is great for younger kids as well to grasp step by step instruction, building lists, thinking outside of their experiences, grasping foreign concepts, and thinking through procedures thoroughly. The tabs (to the left of the google document) have the rubric and answer sheet below the initial procedures of the assignment. Feel free to change it to meet your needs or to customize it.
