Description
This ACT resource can be used with any of the sub-tests. This activity requires students to analyze the test questions and answer choices to determine not just which choice is correct but also why that choice is correct and why the others are wrong. This activity allows students the opportunity to think deeply about the questions while causing them to draw upon their English, reading, math, or science skills.
You could use this as its own solitary activity, or it could be used as a form of test corrections, making students just write explanations for questions they missed on a prior ACT practice test. This could be completed independently or in a group. In addition, you could easier change the number of questions required by each student.
