Please use this daily timetable to increase predictability in your class. Print on A3, cut out, laminate and stick hook and loop tape or magnetic tape on the back to display. As there are many individual pieces I recommend storing in a binder, similar to a PECS book. There are also different colour palettes for our Pinterest Teachers! - You know who you are!
The font used is bottom heavy, which increases readability and the explicit visuals allow access to the timetable for students who may have difficulty with reading. This display also helps to monitor our own expectations of students. For example, with this timetable it becomes clear when we have many silent or quiet activities or limited opportunities for students to be collaborative.
You’ll also never forget to change the noise expectation each lesson, because it’s built into the timetable. This particularly helps students with sensory challenges to anticipate what the environment will be like for each lesson.

Brain Break - Whole class warm-up style activity (such as Go-Noodle)
Self Regulation - Quiet student-directed play activities (puzzle, block building, reading)
Guided Regulation - Whole class team building activity (such as the human knot challenge)
