Description

This is a self checking maze activity where students will have to create the explicit formula given 4 terms of an arithmetic sequence. This maze is perfect for differentiation since there is a simplified and un-simplified version! You can also choose between function notation and subscript notation depending on your curriculum.

Description of Mazes:

  1. Explicit Formula - Unsimplified in Subscript Notation
  2. Explicit Formula - Simplified in Subscript Notation
  3. Explicit Formula - Unsimplified in Function Notation
  4. Explicit Formula - Simplified in Function Notation

If you would like a digital version of this activity, made for Google Drive and perfect for distance learning please click here!

Please Note:

Not all boxes will be used in this maze! This is done so that students have to focus on getting the correct answer versus just figuring out the correct route.

What's Included:

4 Mazes and answer key are included!
