The main standards addressed include: the meaning of area conceptually, how to find and measure area of rectangles, tiling rectangles to find the area, multiplying the side lengths to find area of a rectangle, and real-life situations involving area. This digital activity could be used to introduce, develop, and also solidify student understanding of area of rectangles.
The standards addressed are California Common Core 3rd Grade Math. Consider glancing at the preview to see if the questions and language are appropriate for your kiddos. This activity can definitely be used for 4th Grade Math - Geometry, or 5th Grade as a review.

In addition, students critique the reasoning of others, apply their learning, and engage in self-reflection at the end.
