Description

Discover and understand basic emotions and feelings through these social and emotional learning activities. PowerPoint lessons start discussion and explore 8 main emotions for Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and children with special education needs. These lessons are great starting place for students developing self-regulation as they learn to identify how they feel in different situations. The group work also provides opportunity to understand that “I may have a different feeling to you about the same event.” and that’s OK! (Emotions include: happy, sad, surprise, anger, fear, disgust, nervous and excited).

Independent work - series of 8 worksheets
