Description

Great back to school resource and bulletin board idea! One of the best ways to find out how students learn best is to have them complete a learning styles inventory or learning styles survey such as the one found in this resource. This highly engaging, fun learning styles resource was designed to be used in Grades 3-9 across the curriculum to help teachers better understand the learning styles of their students and to help students understand how they learn best and grasp that their peers not only learn differently but also perceive and interpret words and ideas differently.

In this digital PDF packet, you will find printables that contain critical thinking activities that require students to analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and create information. The activities were designed to help students understand how they learn best. The highly interactive materials appeal to auditory, visual, kinesthetic, and tactile learners and cover language arts and math skills such as writing, reading, data collection, data analysis, simple calculations, graphs, and charts. Use the completed student pages to create an informative bulletin board or add to your data wall. Use the data collected to differentiate instruction.

The following are included in the packet: learning styles inventory, identification of primary learning style, learning styles sticker dot chart activity, learning styles bar graph activity, comparing and analyzing students' learning styles activities, two metacognitive reflection activities, a writing task related to learning styles, a cinquain poem template, and a fun cooperative activity that infuses four different learning styles. Several of the activities will get students up and moving. These activities are perfect for back to school but can be used at anytime.

Hope you and your students find the activities within enjoyable. Thank you so much and all the best. A preview is available.
