This resource contains the following items:

1) A printable hands-on activity meant to physically prove that the interior angles of a triangle sum to 180 degrees (see Preview)

2) Using a Protractor to prove the Triangle Angle Sum Theorem guided lesson

3) Using a Protractor practice pages

4) Answer Keys to all Parts

Note: This resource has 19 content pages, but only 4 are meant to be printed off for students. The rest are guided directions/lessons displays for a whole-class lesson.

This resource was created to PARTIALLY meet the requirements for the 7th Grade Math Geometry Standard below:

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.7.G.A.2

Draw (freehand, with ruler and protractor, and with technology) geometric shapes with given conditions. Focus on constructing triangles from three measures of angles or sides, noticing when the conditions determine a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle.
