Description
Practice simplifying expressions using the laws of exponents with this no prep presentation!
The problems start simple with the basic product rule, quotient rule, power rule, and integer exponents. Throughout the slideshow, problems increase in difficulty, including multiple variables and multiple rules used in one problem.
Great to use with Algebra I, Algebra II, or for a challenge in 8th grade math!
In the folder, you will receive a PowerPoint with 21 exponent problems.
A PDF includes a link to the Google Slides resource.
In class, this presentation works great with individual student whiteboards. For distance learning, students can use the PowerPoint or Google Slides to practice on their own and self assess. This resource is not meant to collect students answers. It is just for practice.
You may also want to use the slides for a screen recording as you teach exponent rules during distance learning. You can record your screen and explain the problems to students if you are teaching virtually. Please note, this resource or any videos made with this resource can be shared with students on password-protected sites only.
