This is a great way for students to practice solving exponential equations. All equations can be solved without the use of logarithms.

Directions for use:

1. Students can work individually or in groups. Make one set of cards per group or per student. Have students cut out all the cards.
2. Students should place all the cards with the answer side up. 
3. Students choose any card and flip it over so that an equation is showing.
4. Solve the equation and find the answer among the other cards. If students can’t find the answer, that means they need to check their solution again.
5. Flip the answer card over and place it on the previous card, forming a stack. A new equation should be showing.
6. Students should continue until they have solved all of the equations. The final answer will be on the back of the bottom card.
