Description

This digital worksheet was created to be used as independent work following the completion of the Exponents & Roots (DA) but can be used on it's own as well.

As virtual learning continues into the 2020-2021 school year, we are in NEED of digital assignments that have the ability to meet each individual student's needs. This product is intentionally designed with that specific learning model in mind, and, it can continue to be used once school are back to in-person learning! The product has the flexibility to be used as instruction, for review of prior knowledge and for independent practice for middle school students.

Know and apply the properties of integer exponents to generate equivalent numerical expressions. For example, 3² × (3⁻⁵) = (3⁻³) = 1/3³ = 1/27.
Use square root and cube root symbols to represent solutions to equations of the form 𝘹² = 𝘱 and 𝘹³ = 𝘱, where 𝘱 is a positive rational number. Evaluate square roots of small perfect squares and cube roots of small perfect cubes. Know that √2 is irrational.
