This is a basic Expository Writing PowerPoint and covers:
* what Expository Writing is used for
* types of writing students may have seen that would be considered
expository
* things to keep in mind while writing
* a specific formula as to what should be included in each
paragraph
You can also print out the slides in color for display on a Writing Bulletin Board.
This PowerPoint does not refer to a specific graphic organizer, so you can use any graphic organizer. However, if you are looking for a graphic organizer and editing checklist , this is the one I use with my class.
