Description
This activity is a fun way for students to review topics covered in the 7th grade expressions & equations unit. Students will have to complete 8 challenging tasks that will all lead to them finding codes to save their school from a mad scientist!
Topics Covered:
- Task A: Solving Two-Step Equations
- Task B: Writing and Solving Two-Step Equations from Real World Problems
- Task C: Simplifying Linear Expressions with Factoring
- Task D: Simplifying Algebraic Expressions with Rational Numbers
- Task E: Solving Two-Step Inequalities
- Task F: Solving & Graphing Two-Step Inequalities on a Number Line
- Task G: Writing and Solving Two-Step Inequalities from Real World Problems
All the tasks in the activity are independent of one another so you can pick and choose which tasks to give your students or give them all the tasks (one at a time) for a full review of the unit.
