My students had fun with this activity but it is definitely better suited for the lower lever 6th grade students. Some of my students finished VERY quickly.

This Math Maze is an absolute gem for reviewing expressions and equations! It’s engaging, quick, and perfect for reinforcing key concepts like inverse operations, writing equations from indicator words, and solving both one- and two-step equations. The maze format adds an element of fun while still providing meaningful practice. I love that it comes in both PDF and digital versions, making it versatile for any classroom setup. It’s a fantastic activity for fast finishers, as a fun homework alternative, or even as a post-test activity to give students a break while continuing to reinforce their learning. The bonus of turning the maze into a coloring sheet afterward is a great way to extend the quiet time and keep students engaged, all while allowing them to unwind a bit after the challenge. Best of all, this resource is completely FREE, so it’s a win-win for both teachers and students. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, effective way to practice math skills!
