Hey Teachers! Are you looking for a fun and effective way to help your 4th-6th graders prepare for the STARR redesign tests in 2023? Our Extended Constructed Response Practice Passages can help!

We've designed three passages, each with a different type of prompt - informational, argumentative, and compare/contrast. These prompts are aligned with the STARR test requirements and are designed to develop your students' writing skills while keeping them engaged.

Each passage comes in a PDF format, making it easy for you to print and distribute to your students. We've also included a Google form for each passage that you can use as an easy to assign assessment! Plus, we've provided an exemplar essay for each passage to help you maintain consistency in grading and show your students what great responses looks like.

Our Extended Constructed Response Practice Passages are perfect for teachers who want to make test preparation fun and effective. With this resource, your students will be well-prepared for the STARR redesign tests in 2023 and beyond.
