This Extreme Environments Unit Informational Text and Inquiry Project provides students with everything they need to complete a unit inquiry project on Extreme Environments. It includes Extreme Environments reading passages, fact gathering templates, and student inquiry project. This package contains everything you need to complete this engaging inquiry project - very little teacher prep is required – simply print and teach!
This package includes the following:
Extreme Environment Informational Text: Multiple pages of informational text, with images, is included on the following topics: Space, Deep Seas, Deserts, Polar Regions, and Volcanoes.
Extreme Environment Fact Gathering Templates Students use the included templates to help them gather information from the informational text.
Design your own Robot Inquiry Project: Students choose an extreme environment of their choice, and develop a robot that would best survive there. Students must complete a report describing their robot and its specific adaptations, as well as labeled 3D model. Information required to complete the project has been included.
