FBLA/PBL Desktop Publishing Simulation Project {EDITABLE}
Students are directed to create the 5 projects based on the ocean resort thematic information that is enclosed. I suggest students use Microsoft Publisher or some other similar application.
- Design business card (3 1/2" x 2")
- Design letterhead (8 1/2" x 11")
- Design newspaper 1/2 page advertisement (8 1/2" x 5 1/2")
- Design newsletter front page (8 1/2" x 11")
- Design tri-fold brochure (8 1/2" x 11") {landscape orientation}
These activities are very useful in preparation for:
- Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)
- Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)
- other competitions
Note: From start to finish, this unit takes (about 2 weeks), if done in class.
