You want to assess fact fluency without timed tests but you are not sure where to start? This multiplication unit is perfect for small group and independent practice. Teachers can give the Multiplication Interview to assess where each student should start on the multiplication fact progression. From there, the teacher will have students set up their Math Fact Notebook. Use the tabs and pockets to help organize information within each student notebook. The teacher will use the interview to determine which set of multiplication fact cards the student will get for their notebook. From there, students will practice daily facts using their cards and games to gain automaticity!

•Multiplication Interview: Formative Assessment

•Math Fact Progression Chart

•Math Fact Card – Self Tracking Chart
