Description

This resource includes 37 pages (148 cards) that include all the fractions up to eighths.

Students need to match the cards (shape picture, number line, number fraction and fraction written as words.

Fractions can be a difficult concept to teach. So using these matching cards ensures that students can understand the different ways fractions are represented.

These brightly coloured cards are ideal for all abilities and can be differentiated, so these cards are very versatile. For example, instead of using all the cards you could start with the shape picture and the number fraction and extend later by using the other cards dependent on ability.

I have also included the word ‘quarter’ as well as ‘fourths’ just in

case you need them and cards that say ‘One whole’.

This is a quick, fun game which is perfect for re-teaching, extension work, individual as well as group/whole class and of course for homework.
