Description

Animal Farm read as a classroom play? This unit (WORK IN PROGRESS) is filled with engaging and thought provoking resources to understand George Orwell's Animal Farm.

I love doing George Orwell’s Animal Farm with my high school students. Because I teach in a classroom with very diverse learners, I have to get creative with how we take in texts. I’m creating a unit where we read each chapter as a play.

This unit is a work in progress. I have the first two chapters completed.

Each chapter has resources for:

-Chapter script

-Reading comprehension questions

-Deeper discussion questions

-Selected vocabulary practice

-Creative activity choice board

-Multiple Choice Quiz

-Bell-ringer activity before reading

I'm loving this resource. My students had just read chapter two, so we read the play version in your resource, and it was such a hit! Great way to supplement the novella.
