Description
Times Table - True Scale Grid Math & Art Project. An individual project that visually represents multiplication problems, using rectangles divided into small square units.
If students don’t know a multiplication fact, they can count the square units (for example, 3×4 is a rectangle that is 3 by 4 and has 12 square units) or think about multiplication as repeated addition (for example, 3×4 is 3 rows of 4 squares, so 4+4+4).
You can use this for World Multiplication Table Day or at any time of the year. Once completed, students can paste their colored designs into their notebooks.
This resource includes:
- The printable version in PDF.
