Description

Need a great calendar time or morning warm-up activity? This is one week (Seuss-themed) from my Daily Editing Word Problems for the whole year resource. It combines ELA editing skills, looking for sight words, and solving math word problems, all aligned to the Common Core! You can see it in action over on my blog Finally in First.

*This could be used with the new TpT Easel tool. The students could use the shapes as counters to model how they solved the problem.

If you enjoyed this sample, you can grab enough for the entire year HERE.

This activity was user kid friendly. I was able to use it with my lower, mid-level and high performing students.
