Numbers 1–10 | Springtime Math Center

Help students practice counting and number recognition with this hands-on Springtime ten frame activity! Students count the bunny rabbits or colorful eggs in each ten frame and match them to the correct numeral and number word.

This engaging seasonal activity is perfect for building early number sense while celebrating Springtime.

This Resource Includes

• Bunny rabbit and colorful egg ten frame cards (1–10)

• Numeral cards (1–10)

• Number word cards (one–ten)

• Hands-on matching activity for early learners

Students count the bunny rabbits or colorful eggs in each ten frame and match them to the correct numeral and number word.

Skills Practiced

• Counting objects to 10

• Number recognition (1–10)

• Matching quantities to numerals

• Matching numerals to number words

• Developing early number sense

Preparation

  1. Print the activity pages on cardstock for durability.
  2. Cut out the ten frame cards and number cards.
  3. Laminate the pieces or place them in page protectors for repeated use.
  4. Attach hook-and-loop fasteners (Velcro) if using in a file folder or task box.
  5. Store the pieces in a folder or envelope so they can be reused throughout the year.
