Description

Looking for a quick and engaging way to help your students practice sight words (pre-primer/primer), letter recognition, numbers and number sense? I created these FREE Weather themed color by code pages to provide a fun way to learn. Ready for the BEST part? Several sample pages are Editable with Adobe Reader and PowerPoint! You can choose what skills your learners need to work on and what works best for your classroom, perfect for differentiation. You can even choose the colors that your students use with the PowerPoint file! Color by code activities are engaging and fun for preschool, kindergarten and first grade students with this packet of printables.

Color by Code pages are perfect for morning work, independent learning, take home/homework packets, early finishers, centers, homeschool and so much more.

9 black and white Weather themed pages (pre-primer, primer, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and number sense) are included in this freebie.

★ Answer Keys


2 black and white Weather themed pages that is editable using text boxes in PowerPoint.

1 black and white Weather themed page that is editable using Adobe Reader. Each page has the option to add six skills. The font is included but can be changed to best suit your needs.

►This resource includes Two options for Editing! An Auto-fill PDF and an Editable PowerPoint file. This will give you more options beyond just sight words.

PowerPoint File: Fill the text boxes with anything you want, including the colors. (addition/subtraction facts, letters, numbers, etc).

Adobe Editable PDF: You will need to download the free version of Adobe Reader. Just type in the Color Code (Example: Read and color the ______ ) and the skills that your learners need to work on. The skills will auto-fill on the page. Super easy and such a time saver! (Please see the thumbnail for more details).

The link to the free version of Adobe Reader (to download on your desktop) is included in the file as well as directions for editing. Click here to download Adobe!

The colors are preset on the Adobe PDF to make it easier for you!

This was a great resource I utilized in my Weather Unit at my Art station. The kids could independently work on these while I worked with other students at my moon table.

I have a group of little friends working through daily task bins, and having one of these in there has been a fun little detour from the other skills we are practicing and for my friends with stronger fine motor skills - it has been really fun for them to practice and something they take pride in finishing!
