Description

This resource includes a fun game for your students to practice critical thinking and problem-solving skills while comparing 2-digit numbers.

Recommended for 2nd and 3rd grade.

The goal of the game is to be the first player to get all 8 numbers in order from least to greatest. Throughout the game, students roll 2 dice and form 2-digit numbers. Players must decide the best location on the game board for the number. This is the challenging but fun part of the game.

Included:

  • 1 game board (color and black and white)
  • Example of the game
  • Small charts containing the possible number combinations ( cut out)

My students had fun with this game. They had to think about where to put their numbers which made them use number sense.
