Description

Your students will like this reading test prep with engaging articles! Save some $ with the bundle of informational articles to practice reading comprehension on language/editing passages.

Get your students prepped for "the test" one engaging article at a time!

Here's what you'll get in this bundle:

→6 original non fiction articles that will engage your students with interesting topics while they're practicing reading and test taking skills.

→Standardized test style questions (specifically, FSA {Florida Standards Assessment}), so your students become familiar with the testing format and build their confidence as they feel more prepared.

→11 graphic organizers you can use with just about any non fiction text to help you review a variety of skills and standards.

→12 language and editing mini passages are also included so that you can have everything you need to help prepare your students and save time finding the perfect practice.

All questions have been written using the Florida Standards Assessment Specifications for guidance. The Florida State Standards are extremely similar to the Common Core standards, so this will align to Common Core standards as well. This will be great to use in your classroom as an assessment, test prep, practice or homework.

Eleven graphic organizers that you can use with the included articles or just about any non-fiction text.

Twelve language and editing mini passages with five questions each. Two different question type formats are used. This will provide more great practice for the FSA or to use as language mini assessments or exit tickets.

I am always on the lookout for resources that review and reinforce third grade standards before the end of the year ELA assessment. It is difficult to find resources that are appropriately rigorous. These reading comprehension passages are great because they simulate the types of questions students will see on the end-of-year assessment. This resource is worth every penny!
