The last section of each page also has them completing 2 digit fact families which really helps expand the role of the knowledge of how fact families worth beyond basic facts.

This series also helps build and reinforce balancing equations knowledge and helps students get out of the mindset that after the equals sign they should always expect to write the "answer" to a "problem." It gets them thinking more about how the equals sign means balanced and equal on each side.
