Description

4 weeks of adding and subtracting doubles plus 1 facts (within 20) fact practice: 1 week of addition, 1 week of subtraction, and 2 weeks of mixed review (+/-). Each week includes a packet you can create with 4 practice pages, 1 assessment, and 1 bar graph students can use to record and monitor their own progress. In my classroom, students complete these within 2 minutes using a timer. Includes additional implementation suggestions you can use if you wish.

I have found that implementing fact practice this way increases student motivation and engagement. It is also a perfect opportunity for students to assess and monitor their own progress which administrators love! Create packets for math centers, homework, or whole class fact practice... whatever works for you and your class.

Great for focus, review or 5 minute activity before bell. I own lots of these and show them on the smartboard while kids write answers on their mini whiteboards! Thanks.
