Make factoring engaging and low-prep with these 8 interactive factoring activities and games! Students will practice factoring polynomials, trinomials, GCF, and perfect squares while solving 10 problems per round. Each game includes one worked example and increases in difficulty as students progress.
Two formats are included—Google Slides and printable PDF—to make it easy to use in any classroom setting.
These activities are excellent for partner practice, independent work, review days, or early finishers.
The first six games focus on factoring topics typically taught in Algebra 1, while Games 7–8 extend the learning into sum and difference of cubes for advanced or Algebra 2 students.
