Factoring Notes & Practice
Share

Description

This is a double-sided notes and practice page over the 3 types of Factoring:

  • GCF (Greatest Common Factor)
  • basic trinomial
  • a difference of 2 squares.

On the notes page, there are 3 examples provided of each type and then 4 examples total where two of the concepts are combined: GCF first then trinomial factoring or GCF first and then difference of two squares factoring. I use this as a summary notes page after I have taught all 3 methods.

The practice page includes 12 mixed questions covering all of the topics taught in the notes. Factoring trinomials where a = 1 and where a > 1 are both included on the practice page. Key included.
