This sequence of lessons takes students through all of the introductory factoring types necessary for success in Algebra I and II.

Topics included are:

1. Factoring with GCF and difference of two squares
2. Trinomial factoring (a = 1)
3. Trinomial factoring (a > 1)
4. Factoring by grouping

Each lesson has a space for notes and includes a reflection area at the end where students can summarize the day's learning.

A quiz on the unit is included as well.
