Description

This product includes 24 color apple cards with decodable words with ch, sh, th, and wh as well as a recording sheet. Simply print the leaves on cardstock and provide each student with a recording sheet to practice recognizing and reading words with initial digraphs. You could also post or hide the apples around the classroom for a "Write the Room" activity.

Alternatively, these leaves could be used as fun flashcards, a game of "I Have, Who Has," or practice underlining phonograms per the Spalding or Wilson methods.

As a special education teacher, I made sure to use a clear, easy-to-read font and to keep distractions like fancy borders, etc., to a minimum.
