The Fall Festival Performance Task printables can be used as independent work or group work. It includes multiple steps of mathematical operations and decision making. The mathematical operations of addition and subtraction are necessary to complete the task. If your students are familiar with basic multiplication facts, these can be substituted for some of the repeated addition problems.

The task can be completed in 1 day, however 2 days would allow students more time to use their critical thinking skills.
