Description

Dear Educator,

Thank you for purchasing the Falling Leaves Addition Task Cards. These task cards help to ensure that your students thoroughly understand addition in a fun and engaging way.

Included in this packet you will find:

- 24 addition task cards

- Answer sheet

- Answer key

You will notice that each task cards contains pictures to add together instead of numbers. Each picture contains between zero and ten leaves. Students must count the leaves in each picture and add them together. This activates a different part of the student’s brain and allows for cognitive diversity when teaching addition.

There are so many ways that task cards can be used in the classroom. They work well in math centers, as an activity for early finishers, and as extra engaging work for your eager learners. You can also use them as a simple assessment to check for understanding.

For resources that are not consumable, such as the task cards, I do recommend printing on cardstock and laminating so that you can use them over and over again.

Thank you again for your purchase. I hope you enjoy the Falling Leaves Addition Task Cards as much as I do.
