This packet includes four fall-themed math centers that are appropriate for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade. They are meant to be used in small groups of up to six students.
The first center is “Counting Leaves”. Students must identify the number on the tree and place the correct amount of leaves on the tree. Trees for numbers 1-12 are included.
The second center is called “Fall Numbers”. Each student receives a board that has nine numbers. The kids take turns drawing cards that have objects on them and counting the objects. If they have the corresponding number on their board, they cover it up with the number. The first student to cover all nine of their numbers wins. Numbers 0-12 are used.
The third center is “Fall Number Scenes”. Three scenes and corresponding mats and numbers are included. Students must count the number of certain objects in each scene and use the number cards to record the amount on their mat.
The fourth center is “Recording Addition”. Students use cut-outs to create addition stories and then record the addition sentence. Three different stories are included.
