Description

Looking for fall music lessons and activities to use around October and Halloween? The song (adapted from Ten Little Indians) has been extended with an additional B section to include an improvisational section that can be used for an instrument rotation.

The resource includes interactive slides to help reinforce quarter notes/quarter rest, eighth notes/quarter notes or eighth notes/quarter notes/quarter rest. It is an excellent song to teach in the fall around October and Halloween to help reinforce rhythmic concepts while addressing your Orff and Kodaly curriculum.

Your students will love the engaging activities included in the lesson plan and the interactive visuals.

The set of Lesson Plans and interactive slides include:

• 5 lessons each 8-20 minutes (6 pdf pages) plus a Score (3 pages). The lesson plan includes detailed instructions for teaching the song, steady beat game, rhythmic activities and a fun instrument rotation activity for first through third grade.

• 33 slides with 11 slides being teacher and student interactive may be used to reinforce rhythmic reading and aurally identifying if rhythm patterns are the same. Please note you are not charged for any slides that are duplicated. You will have everything you need to teach all the lessons.

It is a perfect piece to address curricular concepts while enjoying making music.
