An engaging and meaningful resource to practice ABAB, AABB, ABC, and ABCD patterns in the fall! Personalize this flexible math center to meet the needs of your students. There are two centers included, 1) Leaf Color Patterns and 2) Fall Picture Patterns. Use the pattern strips to have students recreate the patterns and show what comes next, and/or label with the correct pattern type. Use a pocket chart, the floor, or a table, for your center. Once students are confident in labeling the patterns and completing what come next, have them create their own patterns with the pictures. 

There are eight worksheets included, two for each pattern type. You may want to use these for whole group or small group instruction, prior to introducing the centers to the students.
