Sorting Activities:

Sort fall items in a Matrix based on color and shape. Simplify the activity by sorting just colors or just shapes first. Make the sorting into a game by rolling dice and filling in the matrix. Or, make your own matrix by arranging the guides before sorting.

Pattern Activities:

Complete patterns based on color and shape, just color, or just shape. There are pattern board with pattern cards where you complete 1, 2, or 3 parts of the pattern. Also, there are boards that focus on just shape patterns or just color patterns.

There are also Pattern Clip Cards, where you complete the pattern by using clothes pins to select the correct option from 3 choices.
