Google Slides! - Perfect for displaying on your interactive whiteboards!
Help your young learners wake up their brains by doing one or two of these each day. I love to do these as a warm-up before our phonics lessons! Studies are showing that RAN (rapid automatic naming) activities are linked to reading skills. RAN drills have familiar items or symbols presented in rows for students to call out from left to right. There are 45 days worth included!
Each day consists of 2 slides:
Labeled items to be introduced or reviewed
One or two rows of the items for students to name from left to right
The themes are:
School Supplies
Shapes
Up & Down Arrows
Sizes
Apples
Fall
Numbers 0-9
Trees
Halloween
Leaves
Uppercase Letters
Thanksgiving
You could also print out the slides (2 to a page) and use as cards for small group or 1:1 work!
