What’s Included:

βœ… 12 leaf cut-outs (students will color some orange and some yellow)
βœ… Student math recording sheet with the following prompts:

  • I have __________ orange leaves.
  • I have __________ yellow leaves.
  • In all, I have __________ leaves because __________ + __________ = __________

How It Works:

  1. Students color the tree and 12 leaves, choosing how many to make orange and how many to make yellow.
  2. They cut and glue the leaves onto their tree in any arrangement they like.
  3. On the recording sheet, students complete the sentences to reflect their leaf choices, practicing counting and basic addition in a meaningful context.
