This set of two references helps kids remember and identify types of figurative language. The first sheet is a simple reference sheet with 5 types of figurative language defined and has accompanying pictures. The second sheet is a Yes/ No question help sheet. It helps students decide for themselves which kind of figurative language they are seeing by taking them through a series of yes/no questions until they know which kind of figurative language they have. This question map 6 types of figurative language and includes simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, onomatopoeia and idiom.
