Figurative Language Task Cards
Share

Description

Your students will travel to four different stations and will complete two task cards at each station. Included are extension questions for each task card in case your students would like an extra challenge! These figurative language task cards focus on understanding and interpreting figurative language rather than identifying the type to better match the types of questions students might get during state testing.

This product is ideal for 5th graders and includes 8 task cards, a recording sheet, and an extension recording sheet.

These stations cover the following types of figurative language: metaphors, proverbs, similes, and idioms (with synonyms thrown in there too for good measure)!
