Figurative Language Text Based Question Cards for Any Text!

I created these cards because I know how time consuming it is to constantly think of and write text based questions for every book you read to your kiddos! These cards are general and can be used with any text!

There are 24 cards plus blank cards for your own text based questions. The cards are leveled in bands of K-1, 2-3, 4-5, so this set is appropriate for any grade!

These cards are great for:
-discussion during shared reading
-student reading responses on sticky notes
-partner or independent reading response
-assessment questions that are Common Core aligned
-student work stations, literacy centers, or Daily 5 work
-and much more!

Help students meet Common Core Standards by being text dependent!
