This is a fun resource for when finals are done. The students enjoyed being able to have a little bit of fun.
I loveed this my students really enjoyed it.
My students are having a blast with this assignment. To make it more rigorous next time I use it, I'd like to find a way to have them explain the meaning of each type of figurative language.
I am so glad! I would definitely ask them to explain the meaning of the examples they find in their song; I usually include that in the "oral presentation" part of the rubric, but you could definitely add a new section that really specifies that criteria.
Great resource for my academically gifted sixth graders.
Great resource!
Thank you!
The kids liked this activity.
