In my classroom I do not use file folders. I print these, laminate them, and put them in a 2 pocket, plastic folders with prongs. I find that they last longer this way! I print them front to back so when laminated it is one piece of paper. I then put velcro on each inside cover correlating to the side that matches. This file folder features counting with manipulatives to match the number as well as the reverse. As always, I include a color coded version for students who are newer to the skill and a black and white version for students who have done this before.
