This activity is designed to target not only problem solving skills, but also the concept of proportionate responses and "size of the problem". This is a skill that many students with autism, ADHD, and language delays can struggle with. Is a response "too big" or over the top? Is it too small or indifferent? Or is it just right for that specific situation? Students who struggle with flexible language use sometimes have difficulty in understanding what constitutes a true emergency, vs. a "medium sized" problem, vs. something that they should just let go and ignore. All of these types of scenarios are represented in this fun fall themed activity! Includes 25 scenarios with both open-ended and multiple choice answers.
