First (Part A) you will be learning about techniques and elements of film. You will be watching two adaptations of the same story. During the viewing, you will need to take notes on each movie, as we will be writing a compare/contrast style essay test on the movies.
Second, (Part B) you will be using the knowledge you learned in Part A, and you will be creating a storyboard or movie of your own. These movies or storyboards will be assessed for the techniques and elements (such as types of shots) you’ve incorporated into your project.
