I absolutely LOVE Gallery Walks. The students love to be outside in the hall. It forces those daydreamers to actually be on task. Just like any other fun activity, you sprinkle these from time-to-time so students don’t get bored.
And when students from other classes go to the restroom, they look at my kids like wow, that’s so much fun! (Although in reality they’re just solving math problems!) It’s the movement that makes the difference in how engaged the students are with the problems and how well they collaborate with each other.
These problems have been meticulously chosen to maximize the types and caliber of problems students should be able to do. This resource pairs well with the other products on financial math in my store.
